Dustin entered the world of the cosmetology in 2007 and has since worked as an educator and a published editorial stylist. Inspired by everything from sub-cultures to high fashion, Dustin's eyes are always open. With a genuine appreciation of the most classic haircutting to avant-garde color techniques, he prides himself on being able to create most anything. When not in the salon, Dustin can be found listening to music, creating beautiful art and hanging out with his dogs.

Juan started his hair career training at the Cinta Aveda Institute in 2014 and apprenticed under an umbrella of great talent around the city. He found his home at Green Twig Salon in 2017. Juan's take on hair is very organic to the client's desires and the nature of their hair. He uses various techniques to enhance people's features and loves adding texture to his haircuts. Juan's approach to color is customizable and includes everything from highlights that mimic sun kissed strands, natural grey blending, all the way to funky fashion tones. He has a unique perspective at doing everyday hair. He likes to make it customized, fun, youthful, effortless, and dimensional while using the right methods and products as he teaches you about it. He wants you to enjoy the process while having fun.

Ashley's love for hairstyling began at a young age, starting as early as elementary, then continuing through high school and beyond. Ashley was styling all her friends hair at sleepovers in grade school, for dances in Jr. High and in high school it was for special events and proms, so it's no wonder she decided to take the opportunity to acquire her cosmetology license at a young age via ROP at her high school. Because she was able to do that, Ashley had her cosmetology license before she even graduated high school. Once she graduated, she went to work at one of the most reputable salons in the town where she grew up. In the beginning of her career, she was a "Jane of All Trades" doing nails, makeup, facials, waxing and a little hair. After a few years of that, she started to focus on hair as that is where her passion lays. She became a color specialist, continued her education as she grew in the industry and worked in different salons for the experience. Moving to San Francisco in March 2024 she's been looking for her hair home in the city, so we're super happy that she found us.

Maya is a Noe Valley native and lifelong afficionado of all things creative! Growing up in SF gave her access to a world of wild, wise and wonderful characters with with inimitable style and a deep devotion to freedom of expression, which she says is the souls of this beautiful city. Maya has always been a creative caregiver at heart, and that shows in her career choices. She went from leading flocks of children through imaginative activities at Terra Mia Ceramic Studio and then when her fascination with technology kicked in, that same caregiving spirit led her to a stint in the corporate world, where she ensured that her teams had flawlessly organized calendars, perfectly coordinated travel itineraries and every visitor felt like a guest of honor. Maya takes joy in building others up and helping anyone around her to embrace their own amazing style. So it was a no brainer for us here at Green Twig to snatch her up and add her to the team. Maya said "I'm excited to be the smiling face that greets you when you check in for your appointment, make sure your salon experience is effortless, relaxing and as unique as you are!"
