Ashley’s love for hairstyling began at a young age, starting as early as elementary, then continuing through high school and beyond. Ashley was styling all her friends hair at sleepovers in grade school, for dances in Jr. High and in high school it was for special events and proms, so it’s no wonder she decided to take the opportunity to acquire her cosmetology license at a young age via ROP at her high school. Because she was able to do that, Ashley had her cosmetology license before she even graduated high school. Once she graduated, she went to work at one of the most reputable salons in the town where she grew up. In the beginning of her career, she was a “Jane of All Trades” doing nails, makeup, facials, waxing and a little hair. After a few years of that, she started to focus on hair as that is where her passion lays.

She became a color specialist, continued her education as she grew in the industry and worked in different salons for the experience. Moving to San Francisco in March 2024 she’s been looking for her hair home in the city, so we’re super happy that she found us.
