The rainy season has begun with a splash! We still have a few openings before Thanksgiving, 6 weeks until Christmas and Hanukkah and 7 weeks until the New Year! If you haven't already gotten on the schedule, please reach out so we can make sure you are ready for all the holiday fun!
Some updates!
We are excited to welcome Ashley Nicholson to the team. Ashley has been a hairdresser for 23 years and started her career in Sonora, CA where she is from. She moved to San Francisco in March of this year and is joining us at Green Twig beginning November 5th. Her books are already open on Vagaro, so feel free to get on her schedule. She is a color specialist who also does great haircuts and she'll be in the salon Tuesday - Saturday. Please give her a warm welcome as we are delighted to have her!
We also have a new Salon Concierge, Maya. She is a life long Noe Valley resident and is excited to join the team. So when you see her smiling face in the salon or hear her smile over the phone, you'll understand why we asked her to join the team!
In other news, as some of you may know, Missy became a grandmother earlier this year and has come to the realization that owning and running a business, along with working behind the chair full time, doesn't leave her much time to be available for family, so she has decided to sell the salon. The new owners aren't stylists, but love the way Green Twig has been a staple in the neighborhood for 17 years and want to continue the trajectory we have built along with the wonderful team we have here. Missy will still be working full time until the end of the year and then taking a break in January to move and spend time with family. She will be back with us doing pop ups and we will post those as soon as we have them. With Ashley joining the team, you will still have a fantastic stylist to rely on in Missy's absence.
